Information you provide
When you set up your profile in the app, you may enter personal preferences such as dietary choices, allergies, health conditions, and goals. This information is used solely to personalize the analysis you receive when scanning products.
Information from scans
When you scan an ingredient label, the image and the extracted text are processed to generate an analysis. Scans may be sent to third-party AI services strictly for the purpose of returning a result to you.
What we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your profile data for advertising.
Storage
Your profile and scan history are stored locally on your device by default. You can clear them at any time from the app settings.
Third-party services
The app uses third-party AI providers to interpret ingredient text and generate personalized analysis. These providers process data on our behalf according to their own privacy commitments.
Children
Risk Check is not directed to children under 13. Please do not use the app if you are under the applicable age of digital consent in your region.
